Britney Spears - Piece Of Me

Poor, demented Britney has been in the press virtually every day over the last few months, her every bizarre movement recorded by a gaggle of paparazzi and splashed across every tabloid and gossip site. I almost forgot, amongst the media scandals, that she was a pop star.

'Gimme More', her previous offering was, whilst not in the realms of 'Toxic', surprisingly catchy. 'Piece of Me' is slightly more understated yet ten times funkier. After one listen I wasn't totally convinced, but still curious. Now, I'm extremely ashamed to say that I am secretly delighted every time it comes on the radio.

If you're in any doubt as to Ms Spears' opinions on the media who hound her and the people who judge her, the lyrics to this sassy number will fill you in.

Damn you Britney, my reputation as a pop-hating rock-lover is now in tatters.

Overall

What next?More by Britney Spears? More reviews? More pop?
