Review: Endorphins - The Rain Is Hilarious7 November, 2007 — Geoff Hickman

Endorphins The Rain Is Hilarious

When I popped on 'The Rain is Hilarious' by Manchester's Endorphins, I thought I was going to be pleasantly surprised. It had that nice demo quality to it and the air of something up and coming. The first minute of the song is instrumental and has a great lazy guitar bit that nods along, so in my head, I had built up how the song might work out, and I liked it.

Then the vocals came in and ruined it.

Sometimes it's all about editing, folks. Had this been just an instrumental ala Mogwai, the song would have been pretty damn special, not world changing, but decent all the same. Instead, it's just noise.

What next?More by Endorphins? More reviews? More indie?
