Despite hailing from talent-scant TV competition Fame Academy, Lemar has endured a good period of success - now with 3 albums, and a good dose of critical acclaim, Lemar is enjoying continued chart success. Is his seventh single still worthy of a place in the charts?

And, despite his continued success, Lemar remains popular - entering the UK charts at No. 7 is no mean feat, so someone must certainly be buying his records.
One wonders exactly who, though - this record, dripping with M.O.R. soul, doesn't really have a 'cool' edge, so it's likely sales amongst aunties and grannies across the nation that are boosting this song's position. And it's perfect for that audience - it's a nice song, easy to remember lyrics, and not much cussing.
If you're stuck for a present for an older relative, why not treat them to Lemar's upcoming album, 'The Truth About Love'. They're sure to love it!
Pleasant yet forgettable soul. Better than the rest of Fame Academy put together, though.

What next?More by Lemar? More reviews? More pop, or soul?
