Review: Sandi Thom - What If I'm Right9 September, 2006 — Stuart Brown

M.O.R, feel-good fakester Sandi Thom is back with another single from her faux-hippie album, Smile it Confuses People. But wait - what if she is right?

sandi thom what if i'm right cover

The new single follows in much of the same vein as the first. It's almost uncanny, in fact - down to structure and chord progressions it's much the same. The only trouble is, without the arguably catchy lyrics of the first single we're left with a fairly trite treatment of a folk-cum-pop song. Memorable it isn't. Poor chart entry (currently at #22) doesn't bode well for the song, either - it's unlikely this song will see the popularity of the first single.

Overall summary

More faux-hippie frippery in much the same vein as the last.
