Sugababes About You Now

Even before I heard this single, I was extremely grateful to the Sugababes, for knocking that ear-bleedingly awful Sean Kingston song off the top of the charts. Would I feel the same after listening to About you now though?

First time I heard this song I wasn't impressed with it. I'm probably biased, to me the Sugababes isn't the same without Mutya. Sure, I would't want to meet her in a dark alley, but to me she made the band what it was.

However, after a few listens I warmed to it a little. Sure, it ticks all the boxes for a successful Sugababes song - lyrics about a questionable relationship? Check. Synthy beats? Check. Glossy video? Check. I'm not too sure it deserves to be number one in the single chart as it's not very original but it's fresh, radio-friendly and Keisha, Heidi and Amelie seem to be on top vocal form.

What next?More by Sugababes? More reviews? More pop, or rock, or electro?
