the coral - who's gonna find me

I hate bands which start with 'The'. There are too many of them.

I thought the trend reached its natural end in the 80's with 'The The', but what with the garage rock re-emergence, there's another generation of them. And they're still charting.

You'll be relieved to know then, that 'Who's Gonna Find Me' is not as tired as the naming convention of the band who play it. Indeed, from the opening organ intro, chunky guitar riffs and driving beat, we have a very solid, listenable tune.

The Coral's distinctive blend of modern influence with earlier 60's and 70's rock and roll / psychedelia works well, and although it may not be the most chart-friendly or memorable song, there's not a long that can be said to be wrong with it.
