Review: The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger7 September, 2006 — Stuart Brown

Glaswegian indie rocksters The Fratellis, finally secure mainstream top 10 UK chart success with their latest single, Chelsea Dagger.

Previous single 'Henrietta' managed #15 in the UK charts, but Chelsea Dagger has already managed to top #5 in its second week. It would seem the three-piece have made it big - lauded as the 'best new band in Britain', it was only a matter of time before they found a foothold in commercial success.

The song is an energy-laden journey, with holiday spirit and skillful instrumentation. Coupled with the other great single Henrietta, the forthcoming album Costello Music looks set to hit the album chart very soon.
